Course & Aid

The old king's course is the stuff of legend and has not been trifled with. It is a certified. flat & fast. double-loop course. It begins & ends at the Beach and passes through the LSU campus, around the LSU lakes & by the estates of noblemen who have paid huge taxes (a/k/a/ bribes) to the foul and odious swine neo-king. His Lowness promises that his oslers and gutter knaves will be deployed to curb  the wild boar and dog population which has plagued the course lately.  Sorry. no body armor provided.

Water, replacement drinks. maybe assorted fruit & more will be on the course if the tyrant's varlets can impress enough disloyal subjects to be there.

Parking

In the past there have been complaints of individuals parking in the yards of those residents who live near or in the area of the Baton Rouge Beach. In an effort to accommodate those residents, we will operate a shuttle service from the Marriott, 5500 Hilton Ave, and the shopping center at the corner of Acadian Thruway and Perkins Road (AT&T and Juban's). Additionally, for those who do not prefer the shuttle, they can park at the Trinity Episcopal Church located at the corner of Stanford and Morning Glory or the LSU campus and walk to the start. We ask that you please park at the above locations because parking will be extremely limited at Baton Rouge Beach.

Shirts

If you register before September 30, 2013. you will receive a tech shirt designed by the fabulous folks at Dream Silk Screens in Baton Rouge. If you sign up late, the new despot has a committee of saw-toothed knaves to hunt you down to deliver your freaking shirt. Not a pleasant thought. so sign up early and avoid the knock on the door..

Awards

His Vile Rogueness will be present to give overall & age group awards in both races. Groveling to his majesty is suggested and encouraged. Remember the public executioner? All finishers will receive a medal at the finish & mention by the Royal Cryer.
